All Global Studies majors choose a regional emphasis to focus their coursework on a particular area of the world. In addition to completing the Global Studies Core and specific concentration requirements (21 credits) in Asian Studies, Global Service, or International Economics and Cultural Affairs, majors are required to complete a major or minor in French, German, or Spanish, or a minimum of 16 credits of Chinese or Japanese language.
