Lynn Domina: “Boundary Water”
BOUNDARY WATER
Dark sky,
dark waves. Rain
spatters the lake, becomes
the lake. No thunder—I
can linger. Some forms
dissolve, but my body
drifts, half submerged,
half breaking
the surface.
Lynn Domina is the author of two collections of poetry, Corporal Works and Framed in Silence, and the editor of a collection of essays, Poets on the Psalms. Her recent work appears or is forthcoming in Alaska Quarterly Review, Kenyon Review, New England Review, and Nimrod, as well as many other periodicals and anthologies.
