ILI HHM Luncheon

What an inspiring day at the Indiana Latino Institute’s Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Luncheon!  Valparaiso University is honored to be a Bronze sponsor of this impactful event. Our attendance demonstrates Valpo’s dedication to becoming a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), as we continuously seek ways to better support the Latino community—including our Latino students.
It was a privilege to hear from the talented Wilmer Valderrama, who reminded us about the power of embracing our Latino heritage, paying it forward, and contributing to the growth of our community here in the U.S. We were thrilled to meet him. A huge thank you to Marlene Dotson, Maria Quiroz-Southwood, and the entire ILI leadership team for organizing such an impactful event and their dedication to uplifting the Latino community. Attendees, Jose Padilla, Angela Vidal-Rodriguez, Jill Schur, Gaulo Amezcua-Luna, Thomas Arce, Rebekah Arevalo, Noemi Lozano.
