Theology is the basis for reflection upon human questions of ultimate significance related to human flourishing and purpose, including such questions as those concerning God, the world, human identity and vocation, and our place in the world. The study of theology is valuable for those preparing for all manner of vocations as well as the basis for understanding and appreciating religious traditions of the world and the impact religion has on individuals and in society. The theology department also provides Theology as a pre-professional degree for students wishing to pursue seminary or an active role in servant-ministry.
