Once on your Housing Self-Service page, select the Applications tab and then select the appropriate break housing application (Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring Break).

DEADLINE: The Break Housing Application is typically available for three weeks before each break and will close at least 5 days prior to the start of the break to allow our assignment staff to ensure space is available. An email will be sent to each on-campus student with information once the form is available. Please watch your Valpo student email for more details and be sure to complete the application as soon as possible. All residents must be moved into and out of their break space by the date/time listed in their approval email.

Additionally, students who do not properly sign up for break housing by the posted deadlines and need accommodations may also have to pay a late application fee ($50) to receive permission to reside on campus during the break period.

Please remember that completion of this application does not guarantee permission for break housing. If your request for break housing is approved, you will be notified via your Valpo e-mail address with instructions regarding when to move to your break housing assignment.

If your plans change, including the dates you need break housing, or if you need to cancel your request, please contact our office at ResLife@valpo.edu or 219.464.5413.
