Veterans Outside Scholarships
The following is a listing of outside scholarship opportunities. These are scholarships NOT given by Valparaiso University, nor are endorsed by Valpo. These scholarship opportunities are subject to change. They may require separate applications to the scholarship organization offering them.
Eligibility: The AFCEA Educational Foundation offers academic support to U.S. military personnel through merit-based scholarships of varying amounts.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens and
- Sophomores or Juniors enrolled in an eligible degree program and have at least a 3.0 GPA.
- OR Graduate students must be currently enrolled in at least two semester-equivalent classes at an accredited U.S. college or university. A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent) is required.

Eligibility: Potential applicants must be pursuing a post-secondary degree at an accredited college or university, submit a transcript reflecting a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and have a connection to the military by being one of the following:
- Active-duty service member
- Veteran
- Spouse of military member or veteran
- Surviving spouse of a fallen soldier
- Child of a military member or veteran
