Forever Valpo Earns Multiple Awards

Forever Valpo: The Campaign for Our Future has received awards from two international
organizations. The case statement, video, newsletter, and graphic identity were
recognized as among the best work in advancement communications. Creative development for the projects was led by Valpo alumni Abbey Houx ’11 Bodine and Jon Hendricks ’01, along with Paul Nowak in the Integrated Marketing and Communications office.

The Pride of CASE V Awards

  • Forever Valpo case statement earned the Gold Award (the highest honor) for
    Best Program in Case Statements/Cultivation Publications.
  • The campaign identity received a Bronze Award in the Excellence in Graphic
    Identity/Logo category.

CASE is an international association of education advancement officers and District Five
includes more than 400 member institutions in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota,
Ohio and Wisconsin. The awards will be presented at the CASE V Conference in Chicago
on December 11, 2017.

MarCom Awards

  • Forever Valpo launch video received a Platinum Award in the Educational
    Institution Video/Film category.
  • The print campaign — case statement, mini case, and Advance newsletter —
    received a Platinum Award in the Brochure, Pamphlet, and External Newsletter
    for Educational Institution category.

MarCom is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication
Professionals. The international organization, founded in 1995, consists of marketing,
communication, advertising, public relations, digital and web professionals.

Forever Valpo: The Campaign for Our Future, is a $250 million endowment campaign
focused on raising permanent support for student scholarships, faculty development
and programs that prepare students for lives of leadership and service. The Campaign
was officially launched on Sept. 23, 2016, and has raised more than $162 million.
