Emergency response scenario planned for Thursday

On Thursday, Aug. 4, Valparaiso University will conduct a live emergency response practice scenario. The purpose of this event is to engage and test our emergency response procedures. This is a drill and not a real emergency.

The practice scenario will take place from about 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will focus on a mock roof collapse of the 807 Mound St. residence hall.

Although this is a test, campus emergency response personnel will participate as if this were a full-scale emergency. You may see and hear activity specifically related to this emergency drill, including sirens, emergency response messages, and heightened activity on campus. Please do not be alarmed.
