This is a weekly listing of events occurring on or near campus in the next 10 days. It is created primarily for students in their first and second year at Valpo, though other students, faculty and staff are welcome to enjoy it as well. This is a snapshot; event details may change. Follow the social media and website links for up-to-date information. 

If something looks interesting, do it! If you like it, keep going. If you don’t like it, stop attending and try something else.

First-Year Scholarships Available – Fraternity and Sorority Life is offering several scholarships for new students. There is no commitment to join if you apply for scholarships.

Campus Shuttle – The Campus Shuttle runs continuously between Harre Union North Entrance and Wesemann Hall on Monday through Friday until late-afternoon. Then, it switches to the full campus route in the map below Monday-Friday 4:30 p.m.-2 a.m.; Saturday-Sunday 6 p.m.-2 a.m. The shuttle is free to students, faculty and staff. You can download the Crusader Transit Tracker app to see where the shuttle is on its route and to request pick-up.

Get Published! The Lighter Literary Magazine is now accepting submissions for its next issue. Submit up to four pieces of art, poetry, or prose by October 4th. Fitness Center Open – Full-time students can use the Fitness Center for free. Meal Plan Swipes Available At All Dining Locations – This year, you can use meal plan swipes at all dining locations: Founders Table and Campus Café in the Union; Grinders in the Library; and Gellersen’s new dining location. Swipes can also be used at Breakfast ToGo 9:15-10:45 a.m. on weekdays in Chapel View Lounge. Cash, credit, debit, and Crusader Cash are all still accepted at all locations.
