Gregory D. Hume, Ph.D., age 65, associate professor emeritus of mathematics and computer science, College of Arts and Sciences, passed away on May 26, 2020. A memorial celebration will be held at a later date, when family and friends can gather without restrictions to celebrate Greg’s life. His obituary may be viewed here.

Jonathan Schoer, Ph.D., age 57, associate professor of chemistry, College of Arts and Sciences, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020. A memorial service will be private with an inurnment at a later date at Oakland Cemetery of Iowa City. His obituary may be viewed here. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for scholarship funds at Luther College, Trinity University, and Valparaiso University.
