Counseling Center Resources for Students, Faculty, and Staff

Valpo’s Counseling Center recognizes that as we continue to be in a time of change and stressful events, many may feel uncertainty, fear, and anger along with a host of other emotions. Students enrolled full time or in the DARC program can access appointments with a mental health provider at the Counseling Center, who can discuss the best service option (phone, video, or in-person). To access services, please call 219.464.5002 or send an email including your call-back phone number and availability to counseling.center@valpo.edu.

TAO Connect free in-home counseling is available for students to use while on campus or away from campus. This web-based program is free with your Valpo login and will help you learn strategies to reduce anxiety and depression as well as build up resilience, communication, and relationships.

TAO Version 3 has been released for faculty and staff to use. Visit us.taoconnect.org to sign up for this new version. The enrollment key for faculty and staff is Coun1604*.

The Counseling Center has a variety of online resources for the campus community. Visit valpo.edu/counseling and check out the Mental Health Resources including suggested apps and websites.
