AACSB International Reaffirms Accreditation for Valparaiso University’s College of Business

Valparaiso University’s College of Business has maintained its business accreditation by AACSB International — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The five-year accreditation confirms that the College of Business continues to uphold and exemplify the standards of an elite business school.

“The College of Business is dedicated to a high-quality learning environment that ensures each student can reach their full potential,” said James D. Brodzinski, Ph.D., dean of the College of Business. “AACSB Accreditation challenges us to pursue excellence and continually improve our business programs to renew the College’s commitment to graduating students of promise.”

Valpo consistently achieves national recognition for best teaching and value and as one of the best universities in the Midwest. The most recent College of Business report revealed 96% of 2017–2018 graduates are currently employed or attending graduate school.

“It takes a great deal of commitment and determination to earn and maintain AACSB Accreditation,” said Stephanie Bryant, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB International. “Business schools must not only meet specific standards of excellence, but their deans, faculty, and professional staff must make a commitment to ongoing continuous improvement to ensure that the institution will continue to deliver the highest quality of education to students.”

AACSB Accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education. Founded in 1916, AACSB International is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in business and accounting. Today, there are 874 business schools in 56 countries and territories that maintain AACSB Accreditation.
