The Journal of Values Based Leadership Winter/Spring 2020 Edition

The Journal of Values Based Leadership (JVBL) is an international journal published by Valparaiso University’s College of Business. JVBL strives to publish articles that are intellectually rigorous yet of practical use to leaders, teachers, and entrepreneurs and focuses on converging the practical, theoretical, and applicable ideas and experiences of scholars and practitioners. Readership daily crosses six continents!

Jill Long Thompson ’74, former Congressional representative and Clinton and Obama administration appointee, asked the JVBL to review her new book (due out in September). It is entitled “The Character of American Democracy” and contains acknowledgements from Rep. John Lewis and former Secretary of Defense and Director of the CIA, Leon Panetta.

In her book, Long Thompson notes that she received her undergraduate training from Valparaiso University with a degree from the College of Business.
