2020 VUAA Distinguished Teaching Award

The Valparaiso University Alumni Association Board of Directors is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2020 VUAA Distinguished Teaching Award. Robert Clark, Ph.D., is an associate professor of chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences and is also the director of the MSEED program. Professor Clark received his Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005, a master’s degree from UW-Madison, and a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University.

The Distinguished Teaching Award is selected by the VUAA upon receipt of nominations from students. The award recognizes and encourages excellence in the art of teaching, and the criteria include excellence as a teacher, effectiveness as an academic counselor, and extent of service to and positive influence on students in extracurricular settings. Professor Clark will be recognized at December Commencement.
