College of Business Welcomes New Faculty
The new academic year began with three new faculty members. Professors Sanjeev Jha, Ph.D., Matthew Luth, Ph.D., and Anton Lewis, Ph.D. ’11 all arrived on campus to bolster the college’s already sterling reputation.
Professor Jha earned a Ph.D. in management information systems from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2009 and had been an assistant professor of decision sciences at the University of New Hampshire prior to coming to Valpo. He was a teaching associate at UIC before earning his doctorate. Professor Jha also holds an MBA from the International Management Institute in India.
A former assistant professor of management at Pacific Lutheran University, Professor Luth arrives after earning a Ph.D. in management from the University of Kansas. Before private-sector work with firms in Kansas City, he earned a B.S. in biological systems engineering from the University of Nebraska.
Professor Lewis’ most recent teaching stint was at Saint Xavier University in Chicago. He earned a Ph.D. in accounting from Leeds Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom, the same country where he received a B.A. in accounting and finance at the University of Wales. His private-sector experience includes accounting work at a handful of firms in the U.K.
