Valparaiso University Alumni Honored Among Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s 40 Under Forty Top Attorneys

Valparaiso University alumni Joshua Lee ’98 and Benjeman Nichols ’99 have garnered recognition from the Law Bulletin Publishing Company for being among the brightest, most talented attorneys under age 40 in Illinois. Both were members of Christ College — The Honors College while at Valpo.

Lee is a partner at Schiff Hardin LLP in Chicago, and he has broad experience in product liability, mass torts, appellate practice, class actions, civil conspiracy, consumer fraud, and misappropriation of trade secrets. He is admired by colleagues for his dedication to his clients and broad knowledge base.

Nichols works with the Cavanaugh Law Group on behalf of plaintiffs in personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Nichols is a former Fulbright Scholar who researched and studied at East German Lutheran Church in Dresden, Germany. Prior to practicing law, Nichols taught music in the Chicago Public Schools.

Each year, the Law Bulletin Publishing Company honors 40 young lawyers who are intelligent, passionate, successful, and hard-working individuals who also give back to their communities.
