Valparaiso University quality recognized in top national, regional rankings

In two recently released higher education rankings, Valparaiso University was recognized for the high quality of its academic experience.

Valparaiso University was named among the nation’s top institutions by the Princeton Review in its 2012 edition of “The Best 376 Colleges.” About 15 percent of the nation’s 2,500 four-year institutions are profiled in the book.

In addition to this inclusion, Valparaiso University was named as a regional best university in the Midwest by Princeton Review.

Valparaiso University was also named one of the top 650 institutions in the country by Forbes magazine. These rankings are based on postgraduate success, student satisfaction, debt, four-year graduation rate, and competitive awards.

Heckler said. “We have established a vibrant learning community here, noted for a low faculty/student ratio, one-on-one faculty-student mentoring, and diverse educational and service opportunities for our students. These are critical elements for creating a well-rounded graduate ready to ready to lead and serve in our rapidly changing world.”
