32-Hour B.S. in Psychology
This degree offers thorough basic training in the field; required courses introduce students to the major currents of thought in both experimental and clinical aspects of the discipline. Students who opt for this major also choose one of the following:
- A disciplinary science minor (qualifying disciplines include astronomy, biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, geography, geology, mathematics, meteorology, and physics);
- A second major in a non-science discipline;
- The 32-credit complementary major in environmental science; or
- A minor in fundamentals of business, business administration, applied statistics, engineering, or geographic information systems.
In addition to the required courses listed below, students are encouraged to take advantage of laboratory research opportunities or field experiences relevant to their areas of interest.
