Biography

Dr. Ellen Ratajack (she/her) joined the faculty at Valparaiso University in 2022. She is originally from Munster, IN but has spent extended time living in Colorado and North Carolina pursuing her graduate work. In addition to her work with student populations, Dr. Ratajack has also conducted research on parental alienation, factors that contribute to homelessness and incarceration in Colorado, and conservation and spirituality. Outside of school, Dr. Ratajack enjoys spending time with her partner and their dog, painting, bowling, reading short horror stories, and going to concerts.

Research Interests

Interpersonal relationships with a focus on the following areas: power dynamics, aggression, motivation, stress and coping in student populations, and stalking.
