Biography
Professor Old was born in the upper peninsula of Michigan and received his B.A. in 1992 from Hillsdale College in Michigan. He studied American politics and political theory at the University of Notre Dame, where he completed an M.A. and Ph.D. He taught briefly at Hillsdale College before coming to Valpo in 1999. He currently teaches courses in political theory and U.S. government and serves as associate director of the Community Research & Service Center.
