Eric Kuehner
Biography
Eric Kuehner graduated from Valparaiso University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 1976 and did graduate work at Northwestern University. He retired from the University of Notre Dame after working there for 37 years in several different academic departments. He has played in various professional and community orchestras in the Chicago and Northern Indiana area, including Elkhart County Symphony Orchestra, Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra, Kalamazoo Symphony, La Porte Symphony, Chicago Symphonic Wind Ensemble and almost 40 years in the South Bend Symphony. Eric has been bassoon instructor at the University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s College, Indiana University South Bend and Andrews University, and has a private bassoon studio.
