Dalilah Garcia-Rojas
Dalilah is a second year Health Science major in the 5-year Physician Assistant program. Her graduation date for undergrad is May 2024. She is President of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Incorporated, which is the only multicultural sorority on campus and has allowed her to learn and embrace everyone around her. She is also Vice President of LIVE which has allowed her to bring her culture onto campus through various different events and programs.
Dalilah enjoys working at the OMP because she enjoys being around different people and cultures. We have a very diverse staff and organizations in the OMP which allows her to learn more about herself and others. Her goal is to be a physician assistant in an area that is serving lower income/underserved populations. She wants to work in Latinx populated areas and use her Spanish to help break language barriers.
Dalilah’s most impressive and relevant achievements:
- Being Vice President of LIVE has allowed her to learn how to navigate a PWI and how to advocate for latinx students.
- She made the dean’s list every semester since starting at Valpo.
