Valpo’s brand resources aim to provide additional assistance when looking for Valpo assets, working on the Valpo website, or utilizing University-sponsored social media channels. 

The website governance ensures a unified web experience for visitors to the Valpo website and offers guiding principles, workflows, and training resources to admins of valpo.edu pages.

The social media policy lays out how-to’s, ownership guidelines, posting recommendations, and additional information when creating, posting to, or deactivating social media accounts affiliated with the University.

Platforms available to those who frequently use and create marketing assets include:

  • Lytho: Digital asset management platform that houses all publications as well as videos, photos, graphics, logos, etc. This is intended for campus partners to be able to easily access materials created by marketing. User seats are limited and allocated on a division, college, or department level as applicable.
  • Photshelter: Our traditional photo bureau, this platform houses a variety of photography including event coverage, athletics, campus scenes, classroom photoshoots, portraits, and more.
  • Marq: Branded template platform for campus partners to create materials using pre-created, branded layouts. User seats are very limited and allocated to frequent users.
  • ISSUU: Public site that houses electronic versions of select publications to share digitally. This is beneficial for sharing links with prospective students and other off-campus personnel.
