Magistrate Andrew P. Rodovich '73, Northern District of Indiana was honored as the 2013 Trial Judge of the Year by the American Board of Trial Advocates. Judge Rodovich recently joined the faculty at Valparaiso Law teaching Evidence and Criminal Law courses.

Assistant Professor Faisal Kutty presented his paper "Religion in US Courts: Can we live with or without it?" as part of a panel titled "Islamic and Jewish Law in the 21st Century: Contemporary Philosophical and Legal Challenges to Religious Law" at the Association of American Law Schools annual meeting in New York on January 5, 2o14.

Assistant Professor Faisal Kutty vocates. Judge Rodovich recently joined the faculty at Valparaiso Law teaching Evidenwas elected to the Executive Committee of the Association of American Law Schools Section on Islamic Law at the 2014 annual meeting in January. He was also reappointed the editor of the Section's Newsletter.
