On Monday, September 23, 2013, Professor Geoffrey Heeren testified concerning the civil rights implications of immigration reform before the Illinois Advisory Committee to the United States Commission on Civil Rights. The hearing took place in Chicago at 10:30 a.m. at DePaul College of Law.
