Faculty News Gail Hartzell, retired Acquisitions and Serials Librarian Emerita and Associate Professor of Law Librarianship Emerita, has been selected to receive the Outstanding Lifetime Achievement in Law Librarianship Award of the Chicago Association of Law Libraries (CALL). This award recognizes Hartzell's outstanding contributions to the Chicago law library community over the course of her career, including service as a Director on the CALL Executive Board, three years as co-editor of the CALL Bulletin newsletter, and dedicated participation as member or chair of several of the organization's key committees. She has also been actively involved in the American Association of Law Libraries. Hartzell retired from the Valparaiso Law Library in the fall of 2012. She will receive her plaque at the May 15, CALL business meeting.Read More Faculty News |
