Alumni Spotlight


Michael Moellering ('92) is a partner with Burt, Blee, Dixon, Sutton & Bloom, LLP. He has served as Managing Partner in charge of operations since 2005 and focuses on business and corporate law, employment law and real estate.


Marta C. Bukata ('82), was selected as the recipient of The Chicago Bar Foundation Thomas H. Morsch Public Interest Law Award. This prestigious award was presented at the Chicago Bar Association / Chicago Bar Foundation 14th Annual Pro Bono & Public Service Awards Luncheon on July 17, 2012.


Grand Rapids Alumni Event
On June 28th the law school hosted an alumni event at the Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids Michigan. Christine Corral invited alumni to join the Law Schools LinkedIn community.

The 2012-14 Swygert Teaching Fellow is Professor Seymour Moskowitz.

The 2012-14 Swygert Research Fellow is Professor Zachary Calo.

The Distinguished Faculty Award was established by the Mabel Burchard Fischer Grant Foundation in Honor of Jack A. Hiller. The annual award recognizes outstanding teaching, scholarship and service. The 2012 Recipient of the Award is Professor Rosalie Levinson.
