Reading Groups
For Faculty & Staff
LINC hosts informal, seasonal reading groups for faculty and staff. Participants read and discuss a novel, memoir, or other text. The books that are chosen explore intercultural perspectives. This is not an ongoing book club; you can participate on an occasional basis, depending on your interest in reading the selected text. Contact LINC Director Carol Goss with questions.
Summer Reading Group
In summer 2025, LINC will facilitate its fourth seasonal reading group. Throughout the months of May, June, and July, participants will progressively read and discuss a novel, memoir, or non-fiction work that explores intercultural perspectives. The selected text will be announced in early May. Please contact LINC Director Carol Goss if you want to be added to the email announcement.
Spring Reading Group
March 2025: Crying in H Mart, a memoir by Michelle Zauner. Participants will read the entire book over the spring break and then gather once to talk about the book later in March. The discussion will take place in ASB 240, within the Language & Intercultural Learning Center.
Discussion date: Monday, March 31st at 3 pm in ASB 240
