Best memories from your Valpo days:
Great memories, excellent professors, and great friends that are still in contact after all these years. VU has super campus in a great town. I remember the Union where we studied as a group of friends, those were the best days ever, I enjoyed every minute of it.
How Valpo prepared you for your career path:
After graduation I went back to Jordan, worked as a Water and Wastewater Engineer for many years. I also worked on many highway projects. At one point in my career, I switched from a Water/Wastewater/Highway Engineer to become a technical Manager for an Elevator Company responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of elevators. In 2001, I joined the USAID Agency in Jordan and worked there for 17 years when I retired. This was the best job ever and worked there in the Water/Wastewater/ Energy Sectors. In 2019 I was awarded the “Professional Foreign Service National of the Year” across the agency worldwide (one person every year). Valpo really prepared me for the real life.
