Best memories from your Valpo days:
Cultural Nights and other VISA events
How Valpo prepared you for your career path:
My experience in Valpo made me more independent, flexible, adaptive, and more accepting. It helped me to broaden my perspective. I grew a lot as an individual.
Where you are now:
Post-Valpo, after working for 3 years, I went for a degree at the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign, graduating with my master’s in Construction and Infrastructure Design. After my graduation, I accepted an offer from Kiewit (America’s one of the biggest Civil Engineering and Construction companies). I work as a Roadway Engineer in their Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering department and am currently acting as a homeroom team lead and a deputy lead on a multi-million dollar highway and interstate project in Dallas, Texas. I enjoy every bit of this new chapter in my life, as Kiewit is a multi-billion dollar and a Fortune 500 company with amazing opportunities to offer.
