What are you hoping to accomplish and or offer to GSAC?
I hope to encourage more interactions between graduate students, faculty, administration and alumni community. I Intend to regularly communicate with my fellow program students on program updates, and identify opportunities for development.
What are three expectations that you have of this council?
- A GSAC that is accountable to the students, faculty and administration.
- A GSAC that takes protective steps to ensure objectives are met.
- A GSAC that is more inclusive and open to ideas.
How do you plan to represent graduate students on GSAC?
Being a part of the council gives me the platform to be a voice for graduate students. So, I intend to keep listening and having conversations with my fellow graduate students, so as to know more about their concerns, needs and any suggestions that they might have.
What led to your decision to become a graduate student at Valpo?
The decision to pursue my masters at Valpo, started from the prompt correspondence I had with my graduate admissions, and the way they handled my graduate application. The faculty and staff of the graduate programs are dedicated to students’ success.
What is one interesting fact about yourself?
I can speak in the Yoruba language.
What is your favorite food?
Fried rice and chicken.
