Biography

Emma Kelley is the Director of School and Community Partnerships for the Department of Education.

She works to establish mutually beneficial relationships between Valparaiso University and educators in the surrounding K-12 community. Emma oversees the Professional Educators Partnership, an arm of Valpo’s Education Department that provides professional development opportunities for teachers in Northwest Indiana, aimed to support teaching and learning. Emma also facilitates grant-funded community programs with a focus on connecting and supporting the K-12 teaching community.

Before joining Valparaiso University, Emma worked as an educator in the North Carolina for seven years, teaching second and third grade. She gladly continues her work in education at Valpo.
