Biography
Although Professor Jantzi admits she is a terrible gardener, she loves plants and has made them the subject of her paintings and drawings for more than 13 years. The forms in Professor Jantzi’s work reflect her observations of the rhythms in nature, her love of lines, and her internal narratives and perceptions of the human experience. Professor Jantzi has taught undergraduate studio classes in painting, drawing, and design at Valparaiso University since 2004. She and her husband, Kevin, live in Valparaiso, Ind.
