CVA’s faculty create a supportive and challenging environment for students — identifying the strengths of their work, while also encouraging constant improvement. This environment helps students take creative risks as they develop their unique perspectives.
The breadth of faculty expertise, combined with excellent facilities, enables the department to offer a wide range of courses. Students are assigned a faculty advisor within the department as soon as they enroll, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The faculty all excel at maintaining close contacts with alumni and other leaders in the communication and art industries and regularly use both sources of expertise to help shape program offerings.
