Don’t Forget to Apply for Graduation!

If you’re finishing your degree in May, August, or December 2025, apply now! All students should plan to join the commencement ceremony in their graduation year. August and December graduates should participate in the May ceremony before they complete their degree.

Click here for more information about the graduation application process. To request an exception to stated graduation requirements or to participate in a different commencement ceremony then the one for your graduation year, submit the Exception to Graduation Requirements Form.

9 a.m. – College of Business and College of Arts and Sciences Ceremony, Athletics-Recreation Center

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Class of 2025 Reception hosted by the Valparaiso University Career and Alumni Network (VUCAN) and the University Guild, Harre Union Ballrooms

2 p.m. – College of Engineering and College of Nursing and Health Professions Ceremony, Athletics-Recreation Center
