Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is an international professional society, and Valpo IEEE is the student branch of this society at Valparaiso University. Valpo IEEE offers many opportunities for students, providing a mix of technical topics, professional skills, and social events. Each year, students identify several technical projects that they would like to participate in as part of IEEE, with leadership opportunities for many students. IEEE also collaborates closely with Valpo’s branch of Eta Kappa Nu, the Electrical and Computer Engineering honor society, and with Valpo IPC, a student organization that focuses on electrical tools and standards.
