Karl D. Madsen, MBA

Karl Madsen has extensive experience in complex manufacturing, management, consulting, product development, and supply chain logistics. He currently serves as the President of OpteonGroup, LLC, a management and supply chain advisory firm serving businesses such as manufacturing, transportation, restaurant, and retail. Karl’s professional experience includes managing director at a national consulting firm, COO of a national manufacturing firm, and corporate management positions in North America and internationally with Helene Curtis and Unilever. Past educational experiences have taken him all over the world and the United States, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Wisconsin, George Institute of Technology, Cranfield University in Milton Keynes, England, and Lausanne, Switzerland. Karl also teaches at Indiana Wesleyan University and Ivy Tech Community College in addition to his courses at Valparaiso University.
