Biography

David M. Rolling, Ph.D., holds an appointment as associate professor of Sport Management. In this role Dr. Rolling teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in sport law, finance, facility management and development, psychology, sociology, marketing/promotions/fundraising, and research methods. He is also the internship coordinator for the programs.

Dr. Rolling holds a doctorate of philosophy in Sport Administration from The University of Kansas, has published or been interviewed in Athletic Business, Prairie Business Magazine, and The Sponsorship Connection, and was a reviewer for the Cyber-Journal of Sports Views and Issues. He has presented at North American Society for Sport Management conferences, the International Conference on Sport & Society, the Florida Sport Administration and Physical Education conference, as well as various campuses across North America. His consulting work includes bid proposals, contract negotiation, facility design, and hiring committees.
