Hire a Valpo Business Intern
Valparaiso University’s College of Business produces business professionals who are ready to lead in a complex, global environment. All of our business students are required to complete an internship experience, and we are proud to send our students to a broad range of organizations nationally and internationally.
“One of the things I’ve noticed about our Valpo interns is that they really seem to connect to our mission. Rather than treating the internship as just a job, they take their own initiative to get things done while acting like owners.”

We appreciate your interest in offering internship opportunities to our business students, and we know you will be pleased with their business knowledge and their professional skills. Our students are also prized for their character and integrity.
Our internship program is structured as follows:
Internships are open to juniors and seniors, and may be completed over the summer or during an academic semester. Although students may work part-time or full-time, they must accrue at least 100 hours of work experience during the internship. Students typically receive academic credit for their internships, which gives them a structured way to focus on their professional growth.
If you would like more information about choosing Valpo business students as interns, please get in touch with our advising and practical experience coordinator, Deborah Singer. You can contact her at deborah.singer@valpo.edu or by phone at 219.464.5969.
“Our firm has worked with in excess of 20 interns from Valparaiso University over the past few years. The product I have seen has exhibited academic accomplishment along with a strong desire to learn and the interactive skills necessary to succeed in today’s workplace: truly the full package.”
