Mr. Lee has worked in the Chicago office since February 2016. As a litigator, he partners with clients to manage risk, protect their interests, and create opportunities for growth. As an advisor, he regularly provides counsel to C-suite executives from startups to some of the largest corporations in the world in all aspects of their businesses. He received his J.D. from the University of Michigan in 2002 and has been an Illinois Super Lawyer since 2008. He started his career as a law clerk for Justice Marilyn Kelly of the Michigan Supreme Court in 2002 before joining Schiff Hardin, LLP, in Chicago in 2003, where he worked until February 2016. Mr. Lee received Valpo’s Outstanding Young Alumnus Award in 2014 and the Student Leadership Award in 1998; he participated in the Cambridge Overseas Study and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon and the wrestling team. In 2018 Mr. Lee received the Laurel Wreath Society Award. He is married to Mrs. Jennifer (Ewert) Lee, also a 1998 graduate of Valparaiso University.
