Note: Due to current local|state|national policies, governance, and process regarding air quality metrics; communities of environmental injustice in Northwest Indiana are detrimentally affected by air pollution. Current best practices for the health and safety of individuals in these areas are relocation away from pollution centers as air pollution in our area tends to dissipate with increased distance from point sources. There are many reasons why this may not be feasible for constituents, and for those individuals we recommend masking, indoor air filters, and staying current on air quality warnings below.
