Miracle Faller

Residential Learning Coordinator – Alumni Hall, Residential Life

Here’s what Miracle’s recommender had to say:

“Miracle created an elaborate escape room for RA training, incorporating training goals into the game. The escape room was a way for Miracle to bring something she loved to her work, and it gave students an opportunity to enjoy themselves and build community while completing their training.

It engaged our RAs and LRAs in a completely different way than a typical training session. The students had no information before going into the space so they did not know what they were walking into. Once they understood the task they needed to accomplish, they were fully committed to ‘getting the right answer.’ It was amazing to see students working so hard to complete the puzzles and see them excited when they knew the correct answers. I actually thought what Miracle created was not super easy and took a lot of critical thinking skills. It was amazing to see our student staff step up to the challenge. Our 2nd group in the Escape Room was so committed to finishing that they stayed over 30 minutes just to finish the puzzles.”
