Carol Goss

Director, Language and Intercultural Learning Center (LINC)

Here’s what Carol’s recommender had to say:

“As Director of the LINC, Carol manages a vibrant center that provides academic support and a range of resources for language learners, a hub for intercultural learning through initiatives like Podcast Parlor and Reading Groups, and a home base for activities related to the Intercultural Development Inventory. Beyond all this, Carol has demonstrated a serious commitment to maintaining a warm, welcoming space where students from all majors and backgrounds can gather for meetings or informal chats over a cup of tea. The LINC hosts Student Interest Groups (including ASL, Japanese and Korean), Faculty Learning Communities, other student and faculty/staff groups, and inclusive programs like our annual Mardi Gras celebration. More recently, Carol has been involved in MLK, Jr. Day planning, leading efforts to bring a discussion of the film Origin to our campus.” – Stacy Hoult
