Assistive Technology
There are many forms of technology that can assist students in the classroom, primarily students with learning, visual, attention, and print disabilities.
In meeting with a student, if the AARC determines that assistive technology would be beneficial, examples of what we might recommend would include:
If a student is approved to do so by the AARC, they may also be able to use their self-provided technology in the classroom, including, but not limited to:
- Laptop or tape recorder for personal note taking
- FM System
- Closed Captioning
