Rhonda Collier’s ’25, MSW, non-traditional college experience began with a certificate program at Ivy Tech Community College. Now, in Valpo’s bachelor of social work program, she’s introducing advocacy bills to the Indiana State Legislature on the department’s annual LEAD (Legislative Education and Advocacy Day) trip.

Race To Zero Waste
For the third year straight, Valparaiso University students have participated in the Campus Race to Zero Waste Program. Our campus community is dedicated to responsible stewardship of our environment and keeping unnecessary waste out of landfills, from a cost-saving composting initiative to “Green Games” athletic events.
