Psychological Sciences and Counseling

Our department offers undergraduate programs focused on the science of mental processes and behavior, as well as a graduate program in clinical mental health counseling, a separately accredited practitioner training program.

At both levels, students learn to collect, interpret, and present data about cognitive, affective, and behavioral processes; gain insight into social dynamics and healthy relationships; and communicate effectively.

Undergraduate students often take an interdisciplinary approach to their education, combining majors, minors, field experiences, and extracurricular interests.
