Microsoft Office
Microsoft Office is a powerful application suite that allows for creation of presentations, publications, documents and spreadsheets just to name a few. Office 2016 is currently available on campus computers.
If you would like to use Microsoft Outlook with your Gmail@Valpo account, please place an ITicket with the Help Desk.
Office 365
Valparaiso University’s license agreement with Microsoft now provides Office 365 to our current students, faculty, and staff for free. This automatically updated, subscription-based software ensures our community members always have the latest version of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and more for as long as they’re here at Valpo and the program continues. To get your complimentary Office 365 software for your personal computer, contact the IT Help Desk for installation assistance.
A list of FAQs is available in our knowledge base.
NOTE: Office 365 software should not be installed on your University-owned computer, as it will cause conflicts with the Office 2016 software.
