Retired Vice President, QUALCOMM, Inc.Mr. Paul earned his MSEE from MIT in 1978. He retired after working for 22 years in the field of communications engineering—eight years at Linkabit Corporation, and 14 years at QUALCOMM, Inc. His responsibilities included design and development of communication systems for government use, mobile satellite communications, and cellular systems. At QUALCOMM he retired as a vice president of engineering. A highlight of his professional experience was being part of the team that developed a cellular phone standard based on CDMA technology.
