Becca (Crocker) Cavin is Senior Intellectual Property Advisor at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare in Auckland, New Zealand. She graduated from Valparaiso University in 2008 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering magma cum laude and with Christ College Scholar honors.  She went on to earn her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in December 2010.  Becca is a registered U.S. Patent Attorney.  Prior to moving to New Zealand, Becca spent six years as a patent litigation and patent prosecution associate at the international law firm K&L Gates LLP, resident in their Chicago office, where she also served on the Junior Board of Chicago Volunteer Legal Services and volunteered as an attorney in contested minor guardianship proceedings.
