One of the special features of the Chapel’s 50th anniversary is a faculty recital on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Reddel Memorial Organ Dedication Recital, featuring John P. Bernthal, John Brian George and Lorraine S. Brugh.

This special recital is planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27th. The program replicates the organ dedication recital given at the Chapel of the Resurrection on September 27, 1959 by E. Power Biggs. (A service earlier that day had dedicated the chapel and the organ, as well as the pulpit, the west chapel window, and the campanile.) The program features works of Bernardo Pasquini, J. S. Bach, Cesar Franck, Paul Hindemith and Marcel Dupré.
